The American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (AAAASF) inspects and evaluates plastic surgery facilities to ensure that they meet the highest standards. "AAAASF-accredited facilities must meet the strictest standards for operating safety and quality patient care," says Dr. Knight. "Although a considerable amount of effort and expense go into maintaining an accredited facility, I feel that my patients deserve it." Dr's Knight and Sanders take pride in knowing that thousands of plastic surgery procedures have been safely performed in the suite. Both Doctors are ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certified and although they are fully prepared for any life threatening emergency, they are proud to say that Knight & Sanders has never had one. They credit the highly skilled surgical staff in achieving this record for safety and quality care. "We both have privileges at area hospitals, but our cosmetic surgery patients overwhelmingly choose the privacy and convenience and affordability of our out-patient facility over a hospital," says Dr. Sanders.

The facility is staffed by nurses specially trained in the care of plastic surgery patients.

A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) attends and fully monitors every operation Knight & Sanders perform. Both general and local anesthesia are provided. Advancements in anesthetic and plastic surgery techniques, along with their extensive experience as plastic surgeons, allow Dr's. Knight and Sanders to perform procedures on an outpatient basis.
